Scout SC4410 is a fast USB to MIPI-RFFE 2.0, SPI and general purpose I/O (GPIO) adaptor for general purpose control applications.
The bus-powered adaptor simplifies interconnectivity. The adaptor’s small size allows it to be physically located closel to the device under test (DUT). The proximity helps to reduce cable lengths, maximizes signal integrity and minimizes noise coupling.
The interface voltage can be set via software to 1.2 V or 1.8 V in RFFE mode and up to 3.3 V in SPI mode. Alternatively, the interface voltage, VIO, line can be configured as an input from the DUT to provide any interface voltage between 1.2 V and 3.3 V.
Any terminal emulator can be used to interact with the device. Control and operation is provided using a simple command line programming interface. The generic and easy-to-use API facilitates integration of Scout in automated test and measurement (T&M) applications. Configuration of the GPIO pins to support external triggering is possible, facilitating the use in automated test applications.
This module is USB 2.0-plug-and-play compatible on the following operating systems – Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 10, Linux, and iOS.
