Last year marked several milestones for SCT. We kicked off the year by celebrating our 20th year of business. It was a good opportunity to be thankful to our customers, many of whom we’ve been working with for 10+ years. Despite the broad range of technologies and applications our customers are dealing with, there’s a common thread that links them all to SCT. Customers are expecting solutions, not simply products.
The design services side of our business continues to be strong. Many of our product customers were introduced to SCT and our capabilities through service engagements. As these relationships grow, SCT often evolves into a strategic business partner that helps to fill voids in product portfolios and design resources.
On the product side, we were quite excited about the launch of an 18 GHz PXIe module mid-year. The card is targeted at customers looking to extend the test capabilities of their traditional 6 GHz equipment. It is primarily focused at harmonic measurement applications in high volume production, such as those you would find in semiconductor test. It is being marketed and sold in conjunction with National Instruments of Austin, TX.
We continue to invest in new systems to support our growth. Last year, we introduced a new MRP system to assist with tracking customers orders, material procurement and production. This year we’ll be updating our product support portal to help deliver technical content to our customers in a more efficient manner.
